Abstract

615,012. Corsets. ROSNER, 1. Aug. 13, 1946, No. 24065. [Class 141] In a corset of the type comprising two similar sections united by lacing at the back and connectable by fastening means in front, each section comprises an inelastic back portion and a partly elastic front portion on the inner face of which may be secured a belt member. Each back portion a comprises inelastic portions 11, 12, 13, Fig. 1, provided with vertical pockets 14, 15 for stiffeners. Each front portion b is composed of inelastic sections 16, 17, 18, 19 of the shape shown and elastic sections 20, 21, 22, a stiffener being inserted in a pocket 29. A stiffening strip 24, carrying head and eye members 6, 7 is provided in a pocket at each front edge. The inner belt member, Fig. 2, is composed of inelastic panels 26, joined by an elastic panel 28. Supporters 25 for a sanitary napkin comprise straps joined at one end to the lower edge of the section 16 and at the other end to the edge of the belt section 26.
