[Class 141] Means for detachably connecting a brassiere to a corset in which the upper part of the corset is adapted to be overlapped by the lower part of the brassiere, comprise spaced anchoring devices provided at the front and back of the corset which are adapted to be detachably engaged in a slidable manner by loops provided at the lower edge of the front and back parts of the brassiere. In the form shown, the front of the corset 2 is provided with spaced anchoring devices 25, 26, each of which is provided with an upstanding coupler 34, Fig. 5, which is shaped to form a passage 37 for receiving an elastic loop 12, or 13, formed at the ends of an elastic band 3 which is stitched to the lower edge of the front of the brassiere. A similar arrangement of elastic band and spaced anchoring devices is provided at the rear of the brassiere and corset. In a modification, Fig. 7 (not shown), the elastic band is adapted to overlap the lower edge of the brassiere at the front and rear. In a further modification, Fig. 8 (not shown), the elastic loops are formed separately, and in this arrangement, the anchoring devices may be elastic and the loops non-elastic.
