[Class 39 (i)] The electrodes 5, 5<1> of a negative glow discharge lamp are in the shape of two rightangled dihedrons, disposed with their apices adjacent and with the limbs in alignment in pairs. The envelope 1 may be spherical in shape and coated internally with a fluorescent substance 2 such as zinc silicate or zinc sulphide.
