Abstract

610,490. Multi-position switches. ARNOLD, C. L., DOWSETT, R. W., DUFFIELD, J. F., and M.K. ELECTRIC, Ltd. April 8, 1946, No. 10796. Addition to 532,336. [Class 38 (v)] A switch according to the parent Specification is modified by forming the switch actuating cam so that it also controls the switch position. A spindle 8, operated by a member 15, carries a cam 7 having alternate long and short faces which allow a resilient blade 4 biassed by a spring 6 to close or open contacts 1, 3. Locating depressions 9 in the cam faces engage a ball 10, which is captive within a hole in a blade 12.
