756,795. Tumbler switches. M. K. ELECTRIC, Ltd. ARNOLD, C. L. DOWSETT, R. W., and SHARMAN, A. V. May 9, 1955 [June 15, 1954], No. 17587/54. Class 38(5) In an electric switch a pivoted operating member 2 has a cam surface 3 which engages a stud 19 fixed to a moving contact blade 9 to move the switch to the "open" position, the stud 19 passing through an aperture 18 in a spring blade 5 which extends between the cam and the contact blade. The contact blade, which carries a contact 13 to engage a fixed contact 12, is biased to the "closed" position by a spring 15 and also by its own resilience. The spring blade 5 retains the pivoted member 2 in its "on" position. Specification 742,609 is referred to.
