Abstract
567,139. Push-button switches. ULTRA ELECTRIC, Ltd., and FOOKES, E. G. Sept. 22, 1943, No. 15541. [Class 38 (v)] Depression of a push-button a against the action of a return spring c causes the rotation of a moving contact member e which has a projecting arm having a pin-and-slot connection h, i with the bar b fixed to the push-button. The movable contacts are fixed to the disc e by means of bent-over spikes. The bar b may have a recess l adapted to snap into a limb j of its'support to hold the bar in its depressed position. Fig. 1 shows a bank of such switches provided with a releasing bar o arranged to be moved sideways by a projection q on any bar b when this is depressed.' During this sideways movement, any bar b that has been depressed is released by engagement with a cam surface on a hole in the bar o through which hole the bar passes.
