[Classes 20(iv) and 87(i)] In a roof comprising overlapping slates or tiles 1 each provided with a hole 7 near its lower edge to receive a securing pin, wedge-shaped members separate as at 9 or integral with the under face of the slate as at 10 are provided to prevent the accumulation of dust &c. around the holes 7. A cross-rib 11 may join the innermost ribs 10 above the hole 7.
