780,848. Roofing tiles. McKNIGHT, D. Jan. 11, 1955 [Oct. 20, 1953], No. 28991/53. Class 87(1) In a. roofing tile provided along its side edges 3, 4 with rebates 7, 8 formed with main and subsidiary ribs 9, 11 and corresponding grooves 8, 12, interlocking between courses is effected by main and subsidiary ribs 15, 16 on the under face of the tile near its lower edge 6 and corresponding grooves 13, 14 on the upper face of the tile near its upper edge 5. The tile is provided with a hanging nib 17 and with a recess 18 in its under face.
