Abstract
590,848. Collapsable push chairs. ROSEVEAR, F. H. April 23, 1945, No. 10119. Addition to 581,540. [Cass 108 (i)] In the parent Specification the side arms E are connected at the front by a cross-bar which may be extended to form pins A* or the pins may project from the side arms and form the pivot mounting of a foot rest D. The hinge end of the footrest is slotted at G to engage pins A on the supporting frame C to lock the side arms and supporting frame together in the down position of the footrest. To collapse the chair the footrest is raised to clear the pin A and the side arms E and supporting frame C folded back on to the main frame M.
