Abstract
582,372. Paper and like bags. ROBINSON, Ltd., E. S. & A., DAVIES, K. W., and NICHOLAS, J. Sept. 25, 1944, No. 18289. [Class 94 (ii)] Bags of paper, cellulose, or like materials, are formed by folding the material 27, impregnated with or coated on the inside with moistureproof substances which facilitate sealing by heat and/or pressure, securing the insides of edges 23, 24 together, and folding them over and securing the underside of 24 to the outer wall of the bag. The parts 23, 24, may be formed at each side of a bag, or at the bottom. Gussetted satchel bags may be sealed at the edge or edges, in the same way. Separate sealing strips may be fixed to the bag edges before the edges 23, 24 formed by the strips, are secured together.
