[Class 123 (ii)] In a multitubular double-return boiler accord - ing to the parent Specification, double furnace flues 2, 3, or triple flues, are provided, and the first pass 4 of smoke tubes, which is located above the second pass 5, is itself located mainly below said furnace flues 2, 3. As shown, the two passes are arranged in two nests, each more or less disposed in line with the respective flue. The invention is applicable to both dry and wet back boilers. Specification 556,970 is referred to.
