[Class 64(i)] The water spaces at the sides and top of a boiler furnace A are traversed by lower and upper longitudinal flues F, G through which the furnace gases pass backwards and forwards to an uptake at the back of the boiler. Water tubes C connect the side water spaces with a top drum D.
