560,799. Locomotive type fireboxes. YATES, E. W. Oct. 28, 1942, No. 15138. [Class 123 (ii)] Water circulation tubes T supporting a firebrick arch b extend between a water header R forming the front of a firebox and a header A connected to the bottom of the boiler. The header R opens into one or more drums S connected to the boiler bycirculation tubes. The tubes T may be arranged in spaced or zig-zag rows. The walls of the firebox are lined with firebricks.
