567,535. Wheel rims; attaching hubs. LIPMAN, N. I. July 21, 1943, No. 11916. [Classes 144 (i) and 144 (ii)] A two-part vehicle wheel has a main part 1 comprising a flange 2 and well 5 with side walls 4, 6 and aligned seats 3, 7 and a detachable flange 11 secured to the disc 8 by bolts 14. The main part 1 has a central disc 8 with stiffening ribs 20 and holes 18 at different circumferential and radial spacing for interchangeable hubs 15. The side flange 2 may also be detachable and both flanges 2, 11 may consist of a number of segmental sections.
