Abstract
564,085. Snap - - action switches. MARKS, S., and BOOTH, E. R. June 7,1943, No. 9137. [Class 38 (v)] A multi-way switch has one stator 1 provided with a number of spaced contacts 3, each with a series of contact making and positioning holes or bosses 5, a rotor 6, on a spindle 8, fitted with spaced contacts 9 extending through the rotor and presenting protuberances 10 for engagement with the bosses 5 on one side and flat contacts 11 on the other, co-operating with a number of contacts 14 on a second stator, forming a cover through which connection lugs 15 extend to the outside. Thus each of the four contacts 3 shown can be connected to any one of the three upper contacts 14 mounted on the cover.
