Abstract
560,973. Hair curlers. ROPER, C. P. Dec. 22, 1942, No. 18163. [Class 131] A hair curler comprises a length of cord or wire bent and arranged to provide a central loop d through which the tress of hair is passed and about which loop it is wound, an end loop c and a smaller end loop e having a protruding end h, the length of wire being held by clips a, b. When the tress of hair. has been curled, the end e is passed through the loop c and the end h engages or overlaps the loop c to hold the curler in position, as shown in Fig. 3 and prevent the curl from unwinding.
