Abstract
559,238. Fertilizers. COMYN, M. June 5, 1942, No. 7690. Convention date, April 23. [Class 111] [Also in Group III] A fertilizer containing citric acid soluble phosphates is obtained by mixing together rock phosphate and a careous shale containing sulphur, iron, phosphates, silica and alimina as found in County Clare, Eire, crushing and heating the mixture to near the point of fusion and grinding the burnt mixture to a powder. Calcium carbonate or silica or sulphur compounds may be added if insufficient in the raw materials.
