Abstract

Ammonium nitrate or fertilizing mixtures containing ammonium nitrate are mixed with a small proportion of soluble phosphate in order to prevent caking. Ammonium phosphate, dipotassium phosphate and disodium phosphate are mentioned as suitable phosphates. Specifications 256,972, 297,960, [both in Class 111, Sewage &c.], 342,303, [Group I], and 348,184 are referred to.ALSO:Ammonium nitrate or fertilizing mixtures containing ammonium nitrate are mixed with a small proportion of soluble phosphate in order to prevent caking. Ammonium phosphate, dipotassium phosphate and disodium phosphate are mentioned as suitable phosphates.
