Abstract

The process of preparing ammonium magnesium phosphatic fertilizers from monoammonium phosphate and magnesia as described in the parent Specification, is modified in that the monoammonium phosphate is associated with other salts in the form of mixtures which are derived by double decomposition from material containing phosphoric acid, e.g. by double decomposition between superphosphates, containing monocalcium phosphate and ammonium sulphate, or between precipitated di-calcium phosphate and ammonium bisulphate. Specifications 368,559 and 369,027 are referred to.ALSO:The process of preparing ammonium magnesium phosphate fertilizers from mono-ammonium phosphate and magnesia as described in the parent Specification is modified in that the mono-ammonium phosphate is associated with other salts in the form of mixtures which are derived by double decomposition from materials containing phosphoric acid, e.g. by double decomposition between superphosphates, containing monocalcium phosphate, and ammonium sulphate or between precipitated dicalcium phosphate and ammonium bisulphate. Specifications 368,559 and 369,027 are referred to.
