558,965. Watering plants. SHAW, J. A. C. July 21, 1942, No. 10189. [Class 6 (ii)] Water or liquid manure is introduced below ground level through a tube 2 enclosing a valve stem 6 which may be depressed against the action of a spring 11 by a trigger 5 to open a valve 3. Tapered flats 9 are provided on the outer side of the valve sleeve 8 and communicate with the annulus above the washer 7 when the valve is depressed. A lateral connection to the liquid supply, with pump if necessary, is fitted.
