Abstract

554,980. Non-refillable bottles &c. MARINO, L. F. Jan. 13, 1942. No. 506. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, July 16, 1942.] [Class 125 (i)] The neck 13 of a non-refillable battle is fitted with a washer 1 through which passes a tube 2, a shutter 3 to close this tube, a triangular float 4, a weight 5 which normally seats on the float and forces it downwards, but, when the bottle is inverted, engages a conical seating in a member 6, a valve 7 normally closing the member 6 but provided with fingers 7a to engage a ring 9 during emptying, a rectangular plate 10 above the ring 9, and a sealing member 11 resting on a washer 12. The parts 6, 9, 10, and 11 are carried by a clamping member 8.
