Abstract
763,211. Drop delivering stoppers. BRUENE, H. April 24, 1952 [Nov. 5, 1951; Dec. 5, 1951], No. 10282/52. Class 125(3). A drop-delivering insert for bottles, &c. has a closure member 1 with elastic collars 3, an outlet tube 5 with orifice 11 and air inlet tube 4 communicating with air inlet chamber 6. Capillary grooves 12 prevent drops of liquid from dripping over when the bottle is returned to an upright position. In a modification, Fig. 3, the tubes 4, 5 are inclined relative to the longitudinal axis of the insert. The container is closed by a stopper 14 having sealing collars 16. In another modification, Fig. 5, the closure member 1 has. the form of a plate inserted in the neck of the container obliquely and the insert has wedging members 20, the tube 4 being replaced by an orifice 7 through the plate.
