Abstract

305,719. Appleby, J. A., and Wakefield & Co., Ltd., C. C. Nov. 11, 1927. Bottles, jars, and like vessels, non-refillable.-The spout of a container for liquid or semi-liquid substances, such as an oil-can, is attached to the neck of the container by means of a cup-shaped member 4 which is passed over the spout and crimped beneath the shoulder 2 of the neck at 7. The spout is preferably provided with a circular flange 3 adapted to abut against the shoulder on the neck of the container, with or without a cork or other gasket 6 intervening. The construction is stated to make evident any unauthorized refilling of the container.
