Abstract
286,546. Hafermann, A. July 27, 1927. Bottles, non-refillable. - A stopper for a non-refillable bottle comprises an annular dished member 3 into which an annular part 6 extends from above. Passages 7, 8 extend upwards from outside the annular part, the passage 7 serving to conduct the liquid, when the bottle is tilted, into a pouring spout 11, and the passage 8 admitting air. A cork &c. ring 2 is disposed between the device and the bottle neck and a washer may be disposed between the parts 3, 5. In a modification, both passages 7, 8 lead into the spout 11. and in another form, the upturned part 16 of the annular member may carry a cone-shaped or inverted dished valve.
