543,630. Vacuum cleaners. HOOVER, Ltd. (Hoover Co.). Nov. 6, 1940, No. 16170. Addition to 543,470. [Class 8 (i)] The front wheels 5 of a propelled section cleaner are carried by crank arms 21a on a shaft carried in a bracket 22 on the casing; and are linked to the ends of the handle bail through links 27 and pivoted plates 26. The handle thus has limited endwise movement, and it also co-operates with a control sector 10 having grooves A, B C defining the storage position, working range, and lowered position. The dust bag is carried above and parallel with the handle. Specification 528,913 is referred to.
