537,184. Pipe joints. STAVELEY COAL & IRON CO., Ltd., and FREER, E. Dec. 11, 1939, No. 31992. Addition to 531,091. [Class 99 (i)] In a joint described in the parent Specification the resilient sleeve 14 has a number of internal annular ribs 22 to prevent slip between the roll packing 20 and the sleeve during assembly. The ribs are of decreasing dimensions from the mouth of the socket inwardly.
