Abstract
530,420. Plate-heat exchangers. AHLBORN AKT.-GES., E. June 23, 1939, No. 18329. Convention date, June 23, 1938. [Class 64 (iii)] In a heat-exchanger particularly intended as a milk heater, to prevent accumulation of milk or other particles at the points of reversal of the main path, passages 16 are provided at the sides of the main path 20 so as to direct a stream of liquid into the main stream at these points. The side passages are formed by ribs 17 or by depressions between the straight portions of the sinuous path.
