523,715. Transportable cooking stoves. TURLEY & WILLIAMS, Ltd., and SMITH, C. D. Jan. 5, 1939, No. 458. [Class 126] [Also in Group XVII] In a transportable apparatus with a boiling or cooking vessel 4a carried by and depending inside a hollow stand so that a space 31 around the wall of the vessel is formed for the passage of hot gases from a liquid fuel burner 23 located inside the stand below the vessel 4a, a pressure fuel tank feeding the burner is located under the burner and inside the stand. The fuel tank 22 has legs 24 connected by a ring 27 on which rests the stand 21. Plates 29, 30 protect the adjusting handle 19 of the burner and the tank 22 from the heat of the burner. Below the annular space 31 is an annular baffle 20. The vessel 4a has internal handles, and its lid 34 is hinged at 35 to the stand 21. The tank and burner may be supported on a frame detachably fitted inside the stand.
