Abstract
527,925. Portable cooking &c. stoves. TURLEY & WILLIAMS, Ltd., and SMITH, C. D. April 17, 1939, No. 11548. Addition to 523,715. [Class 126] In a transportable boiling or cooking apparatus according to the parent Specification an upper portion of the stand extends below the bottom of the vessel 13, and is removable by means of a handle with the vessel from a lower portion 1, and may be connected to the latter by lever or other fasteners 22, and may be fixed to the vessel. As shown the upper portion 14 rests on upward extensions 7 of the stand feet 2 and the pressure fuel tank 4 is carried on inner limbs 3 thereof. Rings 16, 6, 5 strengthen the frame. A bead 17 at the bottom of the upper portion deflects spilt liquid away from the lower portion. The burner may be offset from the centre of the vessel to promote therein better circulation. Plates 11 and 12 serve as heat deflectors.
