515,082. Electric heating resistances. BACKER, C. B. March 19, 1938, No. 1920/39. Divided out of 501,181. [Class 39 (iii)] An electric grill-boiling unit having tubular heating elements each consisting of a tube containing the heating element, and the insulation in which the coil is embedded, is arranged with the elements disposed in two planes one above the other, and not enclosed in a protective casing. Each of the elements 1 starts at a terminal 10 in a box 6, passes to the opposite side, and is bent back, it is then bent upwards at 12 and passes above the lower part in zig-zag fashion. It is then bent downwards again at 13 and passes below the upper coil to a terminal 11.
