Abstract
510,879. Adjustable brackets BARFORD, S. J. Feb. 7, 1938, No. 3779. [Class 52 (v)] . An adjustable support for shelves or rods consists of two connected oppositely directed U-shaped clips 2, 3 which embrace a supporting rod 1, one clip having a clamping screw 8 and the other a pair of bayonet slots 6 to hold a transverse rod 11 which may form part of a bracket 9, 10 fitted with a screw 12 to provide angular adjustment. The Provisional Specification describes single U-shaped supporting clips with bayonet-slotted arms and secured by grub-screws to the supporting rods.
