The adjustable link 123, equivalent to 76 of the first embodiment, moves the slide 121 on the guide bar 122, a projecting stud 120 on the slide moving the wiper blade about its pivot shaft 92 by engaging the under surface of an inclined bail or cam member 115. In this form, the blade carrier shaft 92 is prevented from rotating by an adjustable slotted arm connection 95, 96, 100.
