Abstract

504,323. Paper bottles &c. WARE, H. M., and WARE & CO., Ltd., H. M. Feb. 7, 1938, No. 14036. Divided out of 504,308. [Class 66] A paper or like container of uniform or tapering rectangular sectional form for containing milk &c. is produced by placing a tray-like hollow part d, e, Fig. 4, on the end of a mandrel f and folding around and over it a blank which may be scored for folding as shown in Fig. 1, the part b being attached to the marginal parts g by adhesive. The part 6 of the blank may be of sufficient width to form the entire body of the container, in which case the flap b is made only of sufficient length to cover the base of the tray-like part. The tray-like part may alternatively be formed by folding the paper blank shown in Fig. 6, and in a further modification the tray or the blank may be attached to the part b of the main blank.
