Boxes made from special blanks; drawer-andshell boxes; specially-shaped boxes; boxes formed of separate bodies combined side by side; contents, facilitating access to.-A device for holding and displaying articles of merchandise of the kind comprising upstanding containers 25, 26, Fig. 3, or 56, 57, Fig. 5, of cardboard, pasteboard, sheet metal &c. for containing articles fed under gravity to delivery apertures at or near the bottom is constructed from a blank in one or more parts, as shown in Fig. 1 or Fig. 4, which is folded to form a container as shown in Fig. 3 or Fig. 5. Trays 60, Fig. 6, may be provided within the receptacles. In a further modification, four containers back to back, as shown in Fig. 7, are provided from a blank 75, Fig. 11, which folds to provide four inner walls and a blank 76, Fig. 12, which folds to provide four container bodies, tongues 86 on the inner walls serving to keep the outer walls in their proper positions. Gum, staples &c. are employed to hold the parts together, and detachable top and bottom caps are provided. Trays and display apertures may also be employed. The blanks 75, 76 may be integral with each other.
