479,199. Gear pumps. DODSON, E. Aug. 1, 1936, Nos. 21353/36 and 20059/37. [Class 110 (ii)] A multi-stage gear pump has the discharge passage j<2> from one stage and the inlet passage k<2> to the next stage arranged in the walls of the casing, the separation plates e between stages having connecting holes e<1>. The part passage in one casing is reduced in crosssectional area from its inlet end, while the part passage in the next casing is increased in cross-sectional area to its discharge end.
