Abstract
272,713. Drysdale &. Co., Ltd., and Drysdale, J. W. W. Aug. 4, 1926. Disc - supported - blade pumps; multiple - way impellers; helico-centrifugal apparatus. - An annular partition d divides the inlet of the impeller into two waterways, helical screw-propeller and radial blades f, c being provided respectively in the outer and inner of these waterways. The discharge ends of these passages are so disposed that the directions of discharge of fluid therefrom are radial and approximately parallel to each other and open into a common radial discharge passage h. The liquid may be admitted axially either at one end or at both ends of the impeller.
