471,211. Washing -machines. STENVERS, F. March 10, 1936, No. 7262. [Class 138 (ii)] A washing - machine comprises a spherical on drum-shaped container a b wherein a flat ring f is rotated on a horizontal axis either by a hand crank g or by an electric motor. The ring is perforated as at h and its inner periphery is undulat ing, and small brushes may be fixed in the crests of the undulations. The outer periphery of the ring conforms to the inner contour of the container. The container is supported in a cylindrical casing c having a gas burner or other source of heat and a trough i is provided around the lower portion of the container to prevent scorching of the goods.
