Abstract

466,474. Non - refillable bottles. GRAUER, S. Dec. 18, 1936, No. 34766. [Class 125 (i)] A multiple valve stopper for preventing refilling of bottles after use comprises a body member with an upper shell 12 and lower shell 13 forming separate valve chambers closed by valves 27 and 30 respectively. The upper shell has guide ribs 15 for the valve 27 which closes orifices 24 in a seat 23 and has a stem 26 extending downwards upon which the buoyant valve 30 slides. The valve 30 is weighted at 32. The various stopper parts have resilient gaskets where required, and are held together for shipment prior to use by a metal jacket 34. The jacket can be secured to a bottle neck by turning in a flange 35.
