Abstract
406,487. Non -refillable bottles &c. DIGGS, W., and MacDEVITT, C. E., 543, Calle Peru, Buenos Aires. March 10, 1933, No. 7364. [Class 125 (i).] A non-refillable bottle &c. stopper comprises a body member 1 adapted to seat on the neck of the container, a head member 2 associated therewith and having one or more discharge orifices 18, a reciprocable cylindrical valve member 7 mounted in a bore in the body member, and having a head 8 adapted to seat on an annular shoulder 9 formed in an enlarged portion of the bore, a partition 17 formed in the head member, permitting flow of liquid therethrough for limiting the movement of the valve, and a disc member 23 freely resting on the head of the valve to protect it from interference. In an alternative form, the valve, instead of being hollow and furnished with ports 10, is solid and fluted on the sides. The head and body portions may be associated together by studs and slots. The stopper is held on the bottle neck by tinfoil &c.
