462,925. Ice - making. SHEPHERD, G. R. (Westinghouse Electric & Manufacturing Co.) Jan. 29, 1936, No. 2595. [Class 29] A grid or partition for domestic freezing trays has a longitudinal wall member 12 and transverse wall members 11 formed of two metal sheets in contacting relationship, to give rigidity in a vertical direction so that the grid and frozen cubes may be detached from the tray by downward pressure of pivoted levers 18 against the edges of the tray, and lateral flexibility for detaching the cubes from the grid by side movement of the levers. The parts of the longitudinal wall, and preferably those of the transverse. walls, are spot welded at the corners and edges 22, 23 to provide the rigidity. The grid is preferably formed of two metal sheets each folded to form the transverse partitions and one face of the longitudinal partition. Specification 462,959 is referred to.
