[Class 29] In a machine-cooled domestic cabinet the cooling element comprises a saddle-shaped brine tank 8 occupying the full width of and arranged close to the top of the storage space, the evaporator coil 11 being soldered to the tank bottom. The depending side portions 9 of the tank are let into recesses in the side walls of the cabinet. A shelf 13 may be supported from the tank to accommodate ice-making trays 14. The refrigerating machine is located as usual in a bottom compartment 1..
