Abstract
459,609. Plug couplings. DABSCHECK, W., Lanark, Alexandra Avenue, South Yarra, Victoria, Australia. Nov. 11, 1935, No. 31191. [Class 38 (i)] In a coupling plug] composed of a body, 2 carrying the pins and screw-threaded to receive a cap 13 adapted when applied to grip the leads between itself and a block 9 and to force the bared ends of the leads emerging from tubes 7 into sockets 6, the pins are mutually adjustable without affecting the inter-socket distance. The sockets are each integral with a plate 14 carrying a screwed stem 17 projecting through a slot in the base of the body and adapted to receive a pin 3. The slots are shaped so that by loosening the pins they and the sockets can be shifted to vary the distance between the pins without altering that between the sockets 6. To increase the hold on the cable leads these may be passed round the block 9 or through side passages as in Fig. 4 before entering the tubes 7,
