Abstract

231,478. Dibner, A. B. March 31, 1924, [Convention date]. Couplings.-A teeconnector comprises a body member 10 and a cap member 11 each having an end which extends over more than half a circle so that each will hang on the main conductor 24 if the members become disconnected. Each member has flanges at 90‹ to one another abutting against those on the other, as 21, 22, 29, 27 and a U-member 18 is adapted to surround the branch conductor 17 and, when secured by nuts 19, hold the conductor in position against ribs on the body member. The cap member has a projection which can take a branch conductor either internally or externally.
