444,051. Colour photography. HUDELEY, V., 50 Boulevard Victor Hugo, Clichy, Seine, France. June 6, 1935, Nos. 16441 and 16442. Convention dates, Sept. 5, 1934 and April 13, 1935. [A Specification was laid open to inspection under Sect. 91 of the Acts, Dec. 9, 1935.] [Class 97 (i)] A light - dividing optical system for pro ducing three colourrecord images with out parallax consists of a prism K having a semi-reflecting surface m<1> and a silvered surface m<2> for dividing the light incident on the prism into twc parallel beams which are receved by objectives O<1>, O<2>, and a second prism K<1> in the path of one of the beams for dividing this beam into two parts, the prism K<1> being similar to the prism K but turned through 90‹ relatively thereto. The optical paths are equalized on the object side by offsetting the objectives along their axes in relation to each other, and those on the image side are equalized by means of glass blocks V, V<1>, so that the images are formed in the same plane. A modification is described in which the two dividing prisms are united to form a single piece of glass, and three objectives are disposed on the image side of the combined prisms.
