Abstract

352,773. Stereoscopic photography. SAVAGE, L. F., 20, Old Compton Street, London. Aug. 11, 1930, No. 24065. [Class 97 (i).] For use in stereoscopic photography an optical system is provided by which the incident beams separated by the normal ocular distance are superposed on the focal plane so that the angle of divergence from the focal plane to the objectives is the same as that from the objectives to the object. The incident beams are received on prisms b and reflected towards each other through objectives a, after which the beams are reflected by interlaced mirrors to the focal plane g upon which the beams are superposed. In a modification the objectives are arranged in front of the reflectors b, which may be simple mirrors, the beams passed directly from the reflectors b to the reflectors f.
