Abstract
443,191. Valve circuits for wireless reception. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP PHILIPS' GLOEILAMPENFABRIEKEN, Emmasingel, Eindhoven, Holland. Oct. 12, 1935, No. 28246. Convention date, Dec. 11, 1934. [Class 40 (v)] In a receiver in which a valve serves to amplify at both high and low frequency and is provided with a reactive coupling, a direct voltage depending on the detector output is applied to the valve so as to decrease the mutual conductance as the reaction is increased. The Figure shows a high frequency pentode 1 with a reaction coil L3 in the screen grid circuit in which both the audio frequency and direct current voltages across the diode load R3 are applied to the grid through resistance R5. The output to the valve 3 is taken from the junction of the choke L4 and the resistance R2.
