440,794. Mixing-machines. BEKEN, F., 27, Sunnyside Road, Ilford, Essex, and HUNT & CO., Ltd., E., Mellish Iron Works, Mellish Street, Millwall, London. July 24, 1935, No. 21065. [Class 86] A mixing-maching for plastic &c. materials comprises a container in which two parallel shafts c, d rotate in opposite directions at different speeds, the blades e, f being arranged so that their paths intersect and exercise a pressing action on the material. The blades may be parallel with the shafts, or inclined as shown, and the blades on each shaft may be in sets e, e<1> at an angle to each other. One shaft rotates at twice the speed of the other.
