Abstract

425,736. Rock drills. COLLIER, W., Empire Avenue, Cwmgwrach, Neath, Glamorgan. June 14, 1934, No. 17597. [Class 124] A hood for collecting the dust from a bore hole has a detachable conical nozzle c to enter the hole and attached to the casing a by a bayonet joint. The casing is formed with a Venturi nozzle g by which the dust is ejected into the filter bag k. A rubber sleeve f surrounds the bore hole and a brush curtain b prevents dust escaping along the surface of the steel.
