645,249. Dental handpieces. RAHBEK, N. M. Sept. 11, 1948, No. 23919. [Class 81(ii)] A dental handpiece 10 having an air tube 34, 36 attached thereto has a gasket 30 on the rear end of the latter so that the air connection is automatically made or broken when the handpiece is attached to or removed from the rest of the drilling equipment. The air tube is preferably made in two telescoping sections 34, 36, so that the lower section may be secured to the chuck 14 but movement of the latter, when changing drills, is not interfered with.
