Abstract

424,827. Book holders. JENSEN, O., 20, Kirkegaten, Oslo, Norway. Nov. 5, 1934, No. 31664. [Class 52 (iii)] [See also Group XV] A writing frame or support for use when making entries in loose-leaf or other books is provided with a back-holding member 1, to which the spine of the book may be attached, pivotally mounted about an horizontal axis, and is provided with attaching means 6 for the spine of the book. The member 1 is provided at each end with supports 2 pivotally mounted on pins 3 on vertical plates 4. The attaching means 6 are slidable in recesses on the supports 2. The member 1 may be turned about the pins 3 and held in the required position by means of a spring-pressed pawl 7, mounted on one of the supports 2, engaging notches in one of the plates 4.
